Hinterland has announced it will release a paid season pass of sorts for The Long Dark later this year. According to a rather lengthy developer diary posted to the game's Steam page and the official website , studio founder Raphael van Lierop - who also announced he was stepping down as project lead to work on new things - the team has "decoupled" Story Mode and Survival Mode making it easier to produce content for one without impacting the other. Activision has rolled out a new anti-cheat update for Call of Duty that adds a new feature called "Cloaking." This is a function of the Ricochet anti-cheat software that makes cheaters unable to see other players. Activision rolled out this update quietly, and players have discovered it in the wild in Call of Duty Warzone . Now, Activision is breaking it down in a more official capacity and explaining how it works. "With Cloaking, players that are detected to be cheating can find themselves unable to see opposing players in the game world. Turns out that the first Kingdom Hearts can be beaten in its entirety using a Dance Dance Revolution 2 pad, as proven by a Twitch streamer. While we're all waiting on the next two installments of Kingdom Hearts , certain players have taken the liberty of proving that there's more than one way to beat the games (via PCGamesN ). Twitch streamer MomoPkmn95, inspired by players beating games in silly ways, decided to try out something similar, and landed on beating the original Kingdom Hearts with a DDR2 dance pad. The National Labor Relations Board in the US has ruled in favour of allowing Raven Software's quality assurance workers to vote on unionising. As reported by Polygon , the NLRB ruled on Friday (April 22) that the 21-person team will be able to vote on whether a union is formed or not. Raven Software parent company Activision Blizzard sought to challenge the QA workers' attempt at unionising earlier in the year, wanting to make all 230 members of staff at Raven Software take part in the vote. According to the NLRB, Raven Software QA workers will have their ballots mailed on April 29, with all ballots being tallied almost a month later on May 23. A gender discrimination lawsuit filed against PlayStation has been dismissed due not having enough details to support the plaintiff's claims. The lawsuit was first filed back in November , claiming that Sony "wilfully violated" labour laws by "intentionally, knowingly, and/or deliberately paying women less than men for substantially equal or similar work." Now, according to a report from Axios , a US magistrate judge has dismissed 10 of ex-Sony employee Emma Majo's 13 claims "without prejudice," which does include the claims that focus on pay discrimination and harassment. According to Axios, Majo is able to amend the claims and attempt to file the lawsuit again, but the ruling does claim she didn't provide enough evidence.
